At Collective Consulting Engineers we have a clear view about how our practice should operate. Formed on common ideology of incorporating sustainable design complemented with a robust understanding of engineering principles, we seek to provide systems within a building which are functional, efficient yet have minimum impact on our shared environment.
Working in support of an Architects vision, we aim to create environments within the building that are comfortable for the occupants. We do this by manipulating daylight, artificial light, temperature, air quality and moisture levels within the space to provide optimum solution to the project at hand. Our design conclusions are drawn through a mixture of understanding building physics, keeping in mind first principles, and of course, our experience.
We believe that communication is key. As a progressive MEP consultancy we seek out early engagement with the client and a lead designer in order to define not only the brief but the wider project aspirations, discuss and advise on the various engineering options as well as leaning on our in-house teams extensive experience to advise on best practice sustainable design.
Collaboration with the wider design team – our approach is to understand and appreciate the remit of our fellow professionals, as well as aid them when called upon. At Collective, we take a holistic approach to each project, truly understanding that working collaboratively meets the wider teams end goal of successfully delivering a building which not only provides comfortable internal environment but incorporates energy as well as engineering efficiency.
Our values are simple yet clear:
